Education & Learning

Encouraging students, families and communities to recognise education as a pathway to opportunity, confidence and empowerment.

Rural Literacy Drive

ASWF volunteers visited Bangra Bansidhar village, interacted with local community members and encouraged children towards education. Volunteers also interacted with parents to discuss the importance of education and encourage greater support for children's learning.

Educational Camp Madanpur, Deoria, UP

Educational Camp — January 2025

An educational camp was organised to encourage creativity, knowledge and confidence among students. The programme included an Essay Writing Competition, Quiz Competition, Drawing & Calligraphy Competition and a Career Counselling Session.

Recognition Community Programme

Sitaray-e-Taleem

Sitaray-e-Taleem was organised to recognise the winners of the educational camps through prize distribution. The programme also provided an opportunity to engage with village residents and discuss the importance of encouraging education within the community.

Free Medical Camp

A free medical camp providing community-oriented health screening and medical support. Services included blood testing, dental check-up, blood pressure and sugar testing, general medical consultation and provision of medicines.

A dedicated eye health camp providing free eye check-ups and medicines to community members, helping improve awareness and access to basic eye-care support.

Multi-Speciality Camp Madanpur, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh

Free Medical Camp — July 2026

A two-day community medical camp providing free health screening, specialist consultations and medicines. The camp included blood testing, ENT consultation, orthopaedic consultation, gynaecological consultation, general physician consultation and dental check-up. Free medicines were also provided to beneficiaries.

Legal Awareness Initiatives

Rights, Awareness & Justice

Creating awareness about legal rights, responsibilities, cyber safety and access to justice through community interaction and educational engagement.

Legal Awareness Patwari Nagla, Aligarh

Legal Awareness Programme

A community-oriented legal awareness programme was conducted at Patwari Nagla, Aligarh. Around 120 law students participated as volunteers along with four advocates. The programme involved interaction with more than 100 community members to encourage awareness and understanding of legal rights and issues.

Cyber Crime Awareness Programme

A legal awareness and cyber crime awareness programme was organised for community members and children. The programme focused on discussing legal awareness and responsible awareness of cyber-related risks. Educational camp winners were also recognised through prize distribution during the programme.

A candle march was organised in Madanpur as a community awareness initiative against violence against women. Following the march, ASWF engaged with local residents to encourage dialogue and awareness around women's safety, dignity and social responsibility.
